
Description of teaching subject: The subject program introduces the culture of communication
in society as a phenomenon and systemic behavior. The student is prepared to face the complex
world of communication, considering the communication process as a parameter impacting the
evolution of social and political currents.
General objective of the teaching subject: The course aims at providing a good knowledge of the main
aspects and problems of communication within society and of the relations between media and society
information, providing adequate knowledge of the sociology of digital media and online participatory forms,
providing a basic knowledge of the theoretical and technical tools of political communication.
Learning objectives: (from 3 to 6 Lines, include only the objectives you are evaluated):
At the end of the semester, the student will be able to understand communication in society, acting in a
systemic mode, mastering its aspects as well as its relationship to the role of the leader. They should have
acquired all the notions underlying communication (axioms, phasing, etc.). He/she will be able to understand
and distinguish the currents, theories and models developed throughout the history of society, but still relevant
today, with a projection into the world of management. Mainly mass communication approaches.
Prerequisites: Fluency in French, English and Arabic, Knowledge of communications. Knowledge of sociology.
