This course is intended for the students of the Master 1 in Sustainable Waste Management in Urban Areas (Institute of Urban Techniques Management UC3). it focuses on the use of the open access software QGIS, It is composed of two complementary parts, a theoretical one to understand the basic concepts of GIS and a practical part based on 09 simple and practical videos created by the instructor. The course also relies on pedagogical and academic materials to facilitate familiarization with the QGIS software and to help students gradually master its functionalities. This approach allows learners to start the realization of projects related to waste management.
